A.P.L.E.'s mission is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead lives that offer choice, independence, and an improved quality of living.

A.P.L.E. utilizes a Person-Centered Approach to recognize the strengths of those we support and to develop their abilities, helping them thrive in daily life.

Our inspiration is to deliver services that reflect the Mission, Values, and Vision of the Office of Developmental Programs.

Abilities Personified for Life Enhancement proudly provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Northampton, Lehigh, Monroe, Pike, and Carbon Counties in Pennsylvania—dedicated to helping each person achieve a fulfilling, productive, and enriched life.

Our staff will work with each client to fit their individual needs. Each client will be tended to in the manner that is appropriate for them. Examples of services our staff will provide include:

Activities of daily living, including meal preparation, assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, housekeeping, medication, and transportation.
Assisting each individual in the community, such as shopping, recreation (YMCA, gym, sporting events, etc.), appointments, and commitments such as supported employment, volunteer work, and group events through A.P.L.E.
Building a schedule and creating goals to work toward, eventually leading each individual toward a path of increased independence, community obligation, and happiness and fulfillment in their lives.
